Patsy is a Westie-Pom!

I did a DNA test on Patsy. I know, I'm dog obsessed. So she turned out to be a mix of two dogs that I never would have guessed. She is a Pomeranian, West Highland White Terrier cross. I had no idea that brindle is an accepted color of the Pomeranian. Now that I see a picture of the brindle colored Pomeranian, I see the resemblance. My major concern is that both dogs tend to be big time barkers. The Westie was bred to have a loud bark so that if it got stuck in a hole hunting, you could hear it barking. Also, the Pomeranian can be difficult to house train. Eeeeek! Looks like I have my hands full with Patsy. But otherwise, she is a great little dog!

Patsy's new friend at the dog park, Gracie, love her!

This is Gracie. Her owner adopted her from the Sterling shelter too. Gracie came from the streets of Puerto Rico. She is just Patsy's size and they played great. They are both fearless little terrier mixes!

Small Dog playgroup

This black and white papillon is a bit on the large size. They are usually the size of the little brown and white one to the left. The owner said, she grew into a giant! Too funny

Small doggie play group!

I went to this small dog play group in Holliston, MA. It was at the Meadows pet spa. It was fun, the people were very nice and the dogs very cute! Patsy was a big hit because she is so different and unique looking. Everyone kept asking, what kind of dog is she? My response was, I don't know. Patsy's favorite playmate was the miniature dachshound, Pumpkin.
