Bahamas 2009

Me and Mom
Nikki being carried under the pole by the Limbo King! I was laughing my butt off!

Me and Mom again

Nikki and Damian

In the pool at night with 2 yellow birds (a delicious drink!) I must admit we got a little buzzed that night!

Bahamas 2009

Nikki down at the cove on Cabbage Beach
Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island, love it...

Kite surfing.

Atlantis at the other end of the beach.

Bahamas 2009

Power boat adventures from paradise island, Bahamas. Highly recommended. You take a boat ride 40 miles out to uninhabited Cay islands. You feed iguanas, sharks and stingrays. You snorkel, have a delicious lunch, open bar all day. Lay on a gorgeous beach and walk around the island. Not a bad day at all!
Nikki feeding the iguanas. This is a different island than the one we spent the day at. The iguanas are hilarious, they come running out of the woods when the boat pulls in. They know their lunch is coming. But you have to put the grape on a stick or they will bite your finger. How in the hell did those iguanas get out there?

Stephen filleting our grouper for lunch. The sharks are hoping for some scraps!

Sting rays are cool. Just don't startle them, don't want their barb to get you and end up like Steve Irwin!

Bahamas 2009

Feeding sharks. Good idea? I'm not so sure!
This one is beautiful. We were told there were lemon sharks, reef sharks and nurse sharks in the water.

That's me in the foreground with my camera and Kalik beer. They had open bar all day, sweet! Can you believe I was standing in the water while that shark was thrashing around? Cool!

This is the same water we went snorkeling in! I saw one shark when I put my mask on and got in the water, but then they all disappeared. Thank God!

Bahamas 2009

Feeding the sting rays. I was a bit of a wimp doing this.
Me and Nikki. That water looks like a swimming pool!

Getting ready to go snorkeling

Nikki in her snorkeling gear, never a good look for anyone.

Bahamas 2009

This is where we snorkled, there was a beautiful coral reef running through the middle of it.
There are wild boars living on this Cay island, 40 miles from Paradise Island. We were told this guy was a nice pig, but not to touch him or feed him or he 'would mess us up!'.

This is our guide, Stephen. He filleted our grouper for lunch, fed sharks, helped us feed stingray, took us snorkeling, then took us on a nature walk around the island. How do I get his job?

A view from our nature walk

Another view from our walk, beautiful. It sure ain't Worcester!
